Pune, Maharashtra | December 23rd, 2017
On a crisp December evening in the cultural capital of Maharashtra, something magical happened. For the first time, Amin Farista brought his vision to the renowned platform of Pune Fashion Week (PFW), and the result was nothing short of “Karismatic.”
Our mission for PFW was clear: we didn’t just want to show clothes; we wanted to show the charisma that Khadi spreads. We wanted to prove that this humble, hand-spun fabric has the power to make anyone look absolutely stunning, regardless of the occasion.
First Time in Pune, A Lifetime of Impact
Pune has always been a city that appreciates both heritage and modern style. Being our first show in the city, we knew we had to make a statement. PFW provided the perfect high-profile stage to introduce the “Karismatic Khadi” collection to a sophisticated audience of fashionistas, critics, and enthusiasts.

The Versatility of “Karismatic Khadi”
The core philosophy behind this collection was blendability. We wanted to debunk the myth that Khadi is restricted to certain “looks” or specific types of events.
To achieve this, we experimented with:
- Diverse Textures: We utilized a variety of Khadi weaves—from heavy, structured textures for sharp jackets to soft, fluid drapes for elegant evening wear.
- Modern Silhouettes: Each piece was designed with a “wear-anywhere” mindset. Whether it was a formal meeting, a casual brunch, or a high-glamour party, “Karismatic Khadi” fit right in.
- The Stunning Factor: By playing with contemporary cuts and a rich color palette, we showed that Khadi doesn’t just look good; it makes the wearer look spectacular.
Turning Heads and Changing Minds
The energy in the room when the models walked out was electric. There is a specific aura—a charisma—that natural fabric carries. You could see the audience realizing in real-time that Khadi isn’t just a fabric of the past; it is the fabric of the future.
The collection proved that Khadi is effortless. It blends with our modern lifestyles while adding a layer of sophistication that synthetic fabrics simply cannot replicate.
A New Chapter
Our debut in Pune was a resounding success. We left the ramp knowing that we had successfully shared the “Karisma” of Khadi with a new city. Seeing the appreciation for our textured pieces and modern designs reaffirmed our belief: Khadi is for everyone, everywhere.
“Karismatic Khadi” isn’t just a collection name; it’s a promise that tradition can be the most stunning trend of all.
